Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today extended his greetings to the personnel, veterans and families of the Territorial Army on its Raising Day. In a social media message, he highlighted the force's motto, “Naagrik Bhi, Sainik Bhi,” which reflects the commitment of ordinary citizens who take on the responsibility of serving the nation.

The Territorial Army has contributed to national security by supporting border protection, disaster response and nation building activities. Its members have demonstrated courage, dedication and a strong sense of duty while serving the country. Rajnath Singh also praised their continued service and recognised their important role in building a secure, strong and self reliant India.
