Union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav met Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Energy and COP31 President of Negotiations Chris Bowen in Fiji.
The discussion took place on the sidelines of Pre COP31 and focused on key priorities for the upcoming COP31 climate conference. Both sides exchanged views on the agenda items that will be taken up during the meeting.
Yadav said India remains committed to a constructive approach and will work with the COP31 President of Negotiations to support efforts towards a balanced and ambitious outcome.
