Several parts of India are likely to experience unsettled weather today, with heavy rainfall expected in Bihar, Odisha, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Kerala and Rajasthan, according to the weather department.

Thunderstorms with lightning and strong winds have also been forecast for Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Karnataka and Lakshadweep during the day.

Similar conditions are expected to continue in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, several northeastern areas and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands over the next two days. Residents in the affected regions may experience periods of rain along with thunderstorms and gusty winds.

In the national capital, the weather department has forecast partly cloudy conditions for today. The latest weather updates and local advisories are expected to provide further information as conditions develop.
