Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the fifth edition of SEMICON India 2026 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi on Thursday. The event is expected to bring together more than 600 exhibitors, 300 international companies and delegations representing over 40 countries. The exhibition will include six country pavilions, twelve State Government pavilions and a dedicated pavilion for startups.
SEMICON India is the country’s leading semiconductor conference and exhibition. It is jointly organised by the India Semiconductor Mission, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and SEMI. The event provides a major platform for participants from the global semiconductor and electronics sectors to promote collaboration, innovation, manufacturing, investment and talent development.
The three day conference will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions and strategic sessions covering emerging developments and key areas of the semiconductor and electronics ecosystem, including semiconductor manufacturing technology. The event will also give Indian and international companies an opportunity to discuss partnerships, investment prospects, technology cooperation and supply chain connections, supporting India’s growing role as a trusted partner in the global semiconductor industry.
