Two people lost their lives and seven others were injured after a passenger minibus overturned near the Bakkal Tunnel area in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

According to reports from Akashvani Jammu Correspondent, the minibus, registered as JK14B 2973, was travelling from Bakkal towards Reasi when the vehicle overturned on the road close to the tunnel. The accident resulted in the deaths of two passengers, while seven others suffered injuries. Police and rescue personnel reached the location and took the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the tragic road accident in Reasi district. He offered his condolences to the families of those who died and instructed the authorities to provide the injured with the best possible medical treatment.
