Sunjay Kapur, chairman of Sona Comstar, a global automotive components company headquartered in Gurugram, passed away at the age of 53 after suffering a heart attack in the UK.

The incident occurred while he was playing polo. Kapur also served as President of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), co-chaired the Manufacturing Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and was on the board of The Doon School in Dehradun, where he had studied.
