The device made its debut in China earlier this month as the OnePlus 13T and is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This is the company’s first small smartphone in years, featuring a 6.3-inch 1.5K AMOLED display.
If the specifications of the Indian variant remain the same as the model launched in China, this is what users can expect.
The OnePlus 13T — or the OnePlus 13s in India — is the first smartphone from the brand to replace the iconic alert slider with a new Shortcut Key, which functions similarly to the Action Button on the newer iPhone models. While it will allow users to switch between the ring, vibrate and silent profiles, it can also be used to trigger other actions such as recording a voice note, opening the camera, turning on the flashlight, etc.
For photography, the smartphone houses a dual 50MP camera setup — one main and one 2x optical telephoto sensor. The front camera is a 16MP lens.
The Chinese variant comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Indian users can also expect these specifications, or at least a 12GB/512GB top model. It packs a 6,260mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging and is rated IP65 for water and dust resistance.
Out of the box, the OnePlus 13s will run on Android 15-based OxygenOS 15.
OnePlus India’s teaser also features two of the colours sported by the Chinese models — Heart-pounding Pink and Cloudy Ink Black. In China, the pricing for the OnePlus 13T starts at 3399 yuan or ₹39,805.
In the Indian market, the OnePlus 13s will be pitted against the iPhone 16, the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Google Pixel 9 Pro in terms of both size and prowess. Based on this, it is possible that Indian pricing could be higher than that in China.
